I hope you all had a super Easter holidays?! If you didn’t catch the first part of this post you can check it out here
We’ve been receiving lots of posts from people keen to see who’s going to represent our First Ladies of Africa . Writing this article got me so excited! I have a long list but not to bore you, I’ll just feature a few in my collections. Stay tuned as I roll out few of my list of these beautiful women.
Princess Lalla Salma of Morroco
Princess Lalla Salma is married to the King of Morocco, Mohammed the VI. Physically as well as intellectually, Lalla Salma is beautiful face but also a brainy woman with a degree in Engineering. She makes wearing kaftans an art. She always looks so glamorous and pretty, I think am going to get some for myself (Princess Ibilola of nothing…lol). Brunette or red hair, any of these choices looks perfect on her and she still stuns us even when she decides not to wear her signature kaftans.
Patience Jonathan (Nigeria)
Worthy to mention is the Nigerian First Lady with her unique sense of style. Took a while but I found these amazing pictures of her, would love to see more pictures though(#smiles). I also eagerly anticipate the arrival of our new First Lady; Aisha Buhari, hoping to see her sense of style.
Sylvia Bongo Ondimba (Gabon)
Sylvia Bongo Ondimba is on top of the list of the most beautiful First Ladies in Africa, she is also widely considered to be one of the most beautiful First Ladies in the world. The Gabon First Lady’s beauty is further advanced by her love for fashion; she is a big fan of famous designers such as Valentino and Chanel. It is not only Hollywood that has the 50 year olds looking 30, this woman rocks her 50 years of age as a 30 year old lady.
Chantal Biya (Cameroon)
Chantal Biya; the wife of the Cameroonian President is a woman of fashion – she is just as famous for her style and hairstyles as she is for being a First Lady, can you believe that she has a tumblr fan page just for her hair (http://chantalbiyahair.tumblr.com). She always manages to whip up something new and creative in her style, and Chanel and Dior are her favorite designers. Most of the outfits she wears are custom-made. Some people believe her fashion sense is too over the top but I believe she is doing her (what do you think?).
Ana Paula Dos Santos (Angola)
Ana Paula, before being a First Lady, was a model and air hostess, which is how she got to know her current husband, President Jose Eduardo dos Santo, during a presidential flight shift. Her modelling experience has helped in defining her as a stylish first lady.
Notable to mention are the first ladies of Chad and Rwanda,
These are just a few of the first ladies of Africa, please send your comments and suggestions….
