Sacred Artistry Creative Competition – Futuristic Couture (Now Closed)

Hello all our Gorgeous Artistes!

Welcome to the third instalment of our Monthly Make-up Artistry Competition.

As usual, the rules are very simple. Each month we’ll set a different theme. All you have to do is interpret the theme however you like. It’s a creative competition so have fun with it! You can use adornments and costumes (if you’re brave).. heheh.. and of course.. Lashes!

The makeup can either be done on yourself or on a model. We don’t mind. But they should be photographs you’ve taken yourself. We don’t allow any professionally photoshopped or airbrushed images.

The competition is open to makeup artists based within the US, UK, Europe and Nigeria!!

Photographs should be initially submitted either through email to us or posted onto our group wall  The theme this month is Futuristic Couture.. Transport us to the year 2099!!

The competition has been open for 2 weeks with all images being submitted by midnight Friday 19th August.  Public voting will be open for 24 hours closing at midnight Saturday 20th August 2011. The winner will be announced on Monday 22nd August.

You can either vote using the poll below or through our facebook page above by clicking the “like” button on the photograph.  Votes will not be accepted through the comments box. You can however show your support and discuss your favourite artists.

Please note.. the poll will close after Midnight on Saturday 20th August.

Every month different goodies will be up on offer.  This month to celebrate the launch of Elite Model Look (Blush Cosmetics are sponsors of) we have Sacred Lashes as well as gorgeous Lipsticks, fit for any supermodel. And don’t forget, there’s also the title of “Sacred Artistry Makup Artist of the Month”

Also… the winner will not only be featured on our website but will be interviewed by one of Nigeria’s top fashion websites!!

Check out all the entries on the next page.

And once again i’m proud to announce the winners of this month’s Sacred Creative Artistry Competition.

This month has never been so close, the top two are simply just a few votes apart!

We know the announcement is a day late, but that’s because we had to tie up a few very exciting ends. As mentioned on our website, the winner of this month’s competition is going to be interviewed for a top fashion website. We’ve also been in talks with some other media houses and we’re so pleased to announce that the winners from our first competition will be featured in a magazine (more details to follow) and that is only the beginning. We’re negotiating partnerships with other sites and magazines to be able to offer this amazing platform going forward, all the way to the grand finale!!

So.. without further ado, we’re pleased to inform you that… *drumroll*

1st Place – Omegie Nsofor – 228 (website) + 38 (facebook) = 266
2nd Place – Juliette Okoli 227 (website) + 23 (facebook) = 250
3rd Place – Teeberry Kiri Bibowei 197 votes (website) + 3 (facebook) = 200

Teeberry wins 1 set of Sacred Lashes.

Interviews from last month & this month will be featured on our website next week. And we will of course let you know when and where you can see our winners featured in the magazine and fashion website the minute they’ve been printed.

Thanks so much to all those that entered and all of those who took the time out to vote. Especially those who posted constructive criticism on the entries. I’m sure all the artists appreciate the feedback.

Can the winners please contact our Creative Director Lola Maja- Okojevoh to arrange collection of their prizes and interviews.

We look forward to next month’s competition.. onwards and upwards!!
